Now that Tomoe is gone I let it play out without pressure to see how long it will take for Mona to finish dinner. Let her have her time. In the mean time, I google why is it so hard to make her just f*ing eat. Everything I found when googling about this was crap advice. When I finally ask her why she doesnt eat - Is it because you dont like the soup? No. Its good. Is it because you are filled up? No, Im hungry. Then why dont you eat? Because I want to watch Spider Man. BINGO! OK, you know that every minute you spend sitting there not eating is one more minute that you can not watch Spider Man tonight because if it takes you an hour to eat it is already bed time? Suddenly the soup is gone within five minutes. Sometimes the internet is useless, because it wont tell you why your kid wont eat, but sometimes it is awesome because it has Spider Man.
