Sometimes the little things in life at the right moment seem like manna from heaven. Ever since little Suzy the feral cat took off Ive been worried sick about her but many of you told me she would likely come back for food. So Ive kept my eyes peeled & my hopes up. Tonight I arrived home after dark, thinking Id have to face reality that shed probably never come back. But when I approached the door, I saw that sweet little white face peeking up at me from under the porch. It was like the vision of an angel & I could hear the violins & harps of heaven. Then I realized that damn little cat had been living under the house the whole time, which is why the dogs were always sniffing round it. So now I know just where to put her food & water & alls well. But if I ever catch that little darling shes gonna get a whooping for taking a few years off my life. At my age you dont mess around with longevity.
