Sometimes the nature of our work simply crushes our spirit. Today whilst on a mobile clinic our vet got a call from her father who had come across a dog with a dreadful open wound the result of a previous untreated haematoma ( localised collection of blood outside the blood vessel within tissue ) . The dog was near a Temple full of workmen getting ready for Vesak celebrations , she had been seen by 20-30 people and all that anyone did was to chase her because the wound smells so bad , no one , not one person did anything for her or called a vet. She is terrified ,clearly in pain and we suspect has limited eye sight in one eye. She is now totally petrified of people but we able to take some long distance video. The monsoon rains hit then and we lost her , tomorrow our team will be back in the morning with nets and food to try and catch her. We have given instructions to everyone locally to try and tempt her into outbuildings with food and they are to call if she is contained. This did not happen overnight , she has been suffering for weeks , we are all fearful for safety Please think positive thoughts for the team trying to catch her , she urgently urgently needs our help Sam
