Sometimes the simplest things to help our body work better are overlooked. Often we think we have to do things to stay in shape. This places a burden on us and when there is pressure to do something this often implies tension and rebellion. Those people who actively push themselves to do healthy things are often doing things they believe will work. I have found that when you leave the act of needing to do something good for yourself and you just listen, your body tells you what it needs. Some days it might be your toes that want to move more and be stretched. Other days your hands and fingers want the tension to be taken out of them. Sometimes the eyes or ears need stretching to open up their full function. Listen and your body will tell you where it needs a little of your focus. Try not to get stuck doing the same things daily. Your body will build up the pattern. Take time to change your focus on where to care for your body. We have so many parts to us and they all need our tender loving care.
