Sometimes things in life dont work out despite best intentions or effort. You break hearts, and in the process yours is broken also. It is a terrible realization to make when you have failed at something. I am hoping to see some sun shining through the clouds soon: a rainbow after the terrible storm that has become my life. I see glimpses of what my future could be, and I am trying to hold on to those. My greatest hope is that I have done the best thing for myself and my beautiful children: that I havent caused irreparable damage because of my failures and weaknesses. Moving on from something you thought would last forever is daunting, but at least I know now that I am strong enough to make it through even this most difficult of challenges. I couldnt have said that a few weeks ago. Heres to endings and the promise of new beginnings.
