Sometimes we dont understand why we suffer a disappointment or difficulty and discouragement will try to take hold. Thats when we have to obey the instruction in the Bible to trust in the Lord and lean not to our own understanding. The Lord reminded me of this today when I read a story that was in a blog that friends Dan and Rose Dan Smith wrote. They are missionaries to Hungary and I met them in 2003 when God sent them to Albania for a year to intercede for Albania. Here is the story. I hope it will help others as it has helped me.
