Sometimes... we fail epically. Heres mine from last weekend. I was out, my friends were Djing, its like 3:30am, and everyone kinda just wants to go home. I saw the guy whose couch I was supposed to crash on leaving with a girl, so I go talk to him to find out if I should find a new place. Im cool and say hi/bye while trying to get a hint, but Im sure he knows what Im talking about. He looks confused and politely sort of dodges me. . Then it gets awkward and she makes a comment under her breath like oh, its fine, Im not gonna stay there anyways. So Im like Haha Ok cool! Well do it next time, and just walked away cause it got awkward. Soon I realize... Its not him. It was that british soccer coach I talked with at the bar randomly, whos clothes and features really looked like the guy with the couch. Great. Im the asshole. In my defense, it was my 2nd event that night and I was drunk? He probably thought I was hitting on him in the weirdest way, right in front of this girl hes trying to go home with...I wonder if she pulled through or not! The lesson is.... Dont drink in dark nightclubs because, the risk of impaired judgment is high. Kids.
