Sometimes we get caught in a thought-loop, going round and round in the same negative, defeated mindset that blinds us from seeing the clear and obvious truth: God can do anything, anytime, including changing our circumstances when the time is right and we are ready. He is the only thing that does not change. Some of his disciples began talking about the beautiful stonework of the Temple and the memorial decorations on the walls. But Jesus said, The time is coming when all these things will be so completely demolished that not one stone will be left on top of another. (Luke 21:5-6 NLT) Prayer: LORD, thank You for reminding me that even things that seem to be set in stone can change. I also know that there are things in my life that need to be demolished. So, regardless of circumstances that appear hard as stone, help me bring my needs to You, accept the changes You bring, and recognize Your purpose in them--and all at Your right time. In Jesus name, Amen.
