Sometimes we have nothing to say on Mothers Day not because we dont know the importance of this day but just because there are no words around which are enough to express what the mother has done for us. The reality of life is that people meet us when we are already the finished products, they admire the hair cuts, the perfumes we wear , the good manners we show but what they dont know is before then, there was hard work by a mother raising us up, she made sure we ate something even though we had nothing, she defended us even though she knew it was our fault, she polished us to behave properly, to speak with respect and to act in a manner that is fit for a society, kneeling down when talking to elders. She made sure we had school uniform and did our school works and today we are what we are because if her. Only that nowadays we dont say happy Mothers Day anymore because our mother is not around and the more we think about her the more it pains us that she just did the whole work of raising us up then went without seeing what she wanted us to become. But all we can do is thank God he gave us a mother!
