Sometimes we think we need the best and most trendy thing that we deem excellent. We want to insure our own success by doing all the we see is the best. Is the excellence we seek and find in others and giftings sometimes a false sence of security. What about annointing and favor? What about faith? I wonder what would have happend IF the army of Israel would have push out the most trendy and excellent warrior the one that got all the jobs in warriorville? instead of the little boy with no armor and only a slingshot? We have visions of success for plans in our life but we should all take a lesson from this and remember that excellence comes in many forms. I would have never picked little David to go to battle for me, because I would have wanted to win. But annointing should never be overlooked. So next time you are trying to find the next great way to do whatever dont just look to the tall warriors take a look at the hearts in the small ones too.
