Sometimes when I am extremely bored. Ill rent a Redbox movie for $1 just out of curiosity. Thats how I ended up spending an evening watching Abe Lincoln: Vampire Hunter which surprised the heck out of me by actually being entertaining. Another that I rented with zero expectations was Kick-Ass. After watching it, I bought a copy & have watched it twice since. Its not great cinema, but it introduced me to one of my favorite fictional characters in its deuteragonist, Hit Girl. She rocks! If you have a slightly off sense of humor and are not bothered by comic book style gun battles, you should give this movie a view. Just dont tell your high-brow friends. Theyd sneer.
