Sometimes when im spinning i get into themes. While doing FAT CHAIN CLASSICS 1978-99 Ive rediscovered my affinity for what i refer to as big beat golden age rap. Songs that feature over the top guitar, ac/dc style back beat- meets 808 drums, emcees who are lyrically dexterous with a really hype delivery. The 80s churned out a ton of these joints.
