Sometimes, whether it be by fate, chance, luck or by divine intervention, you may meet someone who is the final piece to a puzzle that you had no clue was incomplete. They will figuratively squeeze you ever so tightly that all your broken shards mend together and some will never know you were once shattered. They will be a portion of your soul that you never knew was missing... they will be the cheese to your wine, the peanut butter to your jelly and the ham to your burger. They will fill every void without trying, they will bring purpose into places in your existence you never knew needed reason and they will possess every characteristic you were lacking. They will remind you that there is always someone weirder, more emotional, or less fortunate and that they too deserve as much as you do and that although you may not be perfect, youre perfectly dysfunctional, and its endearing. They will kiss all your boo-boos, even if they caused them, they will yell at you in the car for being a terrible driver and in the same breath they will sing you a song along with the radio, that never sounded sweeter. They will call you on your bullshit, and remind you that youre not as smart as you think, following it up with praise in regards to something completely opposite, just to remind you how special you are. This person can come in the form of a best friend, a companion, a lover or a even a stranger but when you meet them, you know your life will be forever changed. As one who never really welcomes change, Im finally okay with it.
