Sometimes you cant help but know God is in control. When a one in a billion situation occurs because its at exactly the right time for all the right reasons and the situation is completely unlikely you have to just sit back and watch God work. Had an opportunity at Costco today. Ran into a young couple at the super packed store and happened to get into the same packed line right next to each other. They, like me, were only there to purchase one set of movie tickes to go see the exact same movie at the exact same time that I was about to watch, Noah. (Dont ask, I didnt like it.) We talked a bit about the coincidence and the movie reviews which led to the their reason for wanting to go see it. The husband is a theology graduate and I having something in common teach at a private Christian school and have a minor in theology (and btw a minor in science as well, and a major in education, and two classes shy of a masters (a-hem...cough cough)) Well....they happened to be looking for a good Christian school which gave me the opportunity to brag about BCS. Yep.. I sure did. And I told them all the wonderful pluses about attending a small Chrisitan school. Not sure how it came to be, but they asked me some questions which allowed me to share that I might not be working there next year, but I hadnt given up all hope. The very nice couple offered prayers for me. God has my back because I have found favor in His eyes. And He can do ALL things. Last week the sermon at church was about angels. I remember the part about showing kindness to strangers because you just never know... I post this becuase when something amazing happens with my situation whatever that may be, I want everyone to know it was all God and the glory is His.
