Sometimes you find yourself in situations, not of your making, that nonetheless seem to overwhelm your life. Robbie and I have been under a great deal of stress now for some time as we have been trying to be helpful and supportive to his twin brother Brett while he goes through his separation/divorce. Any divorce or separation after a long relationship is extremely difficult and exceedingly painful but some break ups seem to get so ugly and so nasty it gets hard to pull yourself out of the emotional maelstrom even though its not specifically your problem. After the most recent round of battle Robbie and I have both come to the conclusion that we have, quite literally, done everything we can do and that for us to even try and continue to help will only end up being extremely detrimental to us, both individually and as a couple. Its very hard to have to say No to a loved one but sometimes you simply have no choice. I guess this is all my way of saying I could use some positive thoughts our way to help Robbie and I get through all the drama :)
