Sometimes you have to take a stand for what is right. This is the comment I just posted on this WVNS 59News thread as some folks were bashing my best friend, Annie Hammy Moore. She doesnt deserve that! First off: Praise The Lord if it was just a backfire. Right? That would be best scenario! Regardless, everyone (including WVNS-TV) saw the footage and reported the story as they wished... The reporter is a FINE journalist who I have personally worked with as a publicist for nearly 5 years now. She didnt ask for this. Think about how scary that was? She still went to work, attempted to do her job and the video footage she got made the story... the story that was picked up both locally by all media outlets as well as nationally. She is brave... she went to work the next day while thinking a hit man was on the loose! That is character. I would suggest that WVNS remove all the bashing comments on her character. Perhaps even delete this story on your Facebook page, especially since she is a former employee of this very station. Kinda makes it look like a smear campaign. Head up, Annie! Hoping it was just a backfire of a truck and the media outlets who chose on their own to cover will treat you with respect, monitor idiot comments, and move on to REAL news.
