Sometimes you just have to call BS. Piece below from Slate bemoans the plight of home cooking and offers meager anecdotal support for a study so incredibly banal and stupid that it only could have been done by sociologists. (Academic alert: Kids, social science is NOT science!) Here at Valhalla Project we pride ourselves on excellent food preparation as well as passing that knowledge on to veteran participants. Why? Because it emphasizes self-reliance, independent living, nutritious eating, great flavors, and frugality. Makes one wonder if this study was founded by companies who make pre-packaged microwavable food. Read those labels and youll understand why we promote healthy, nutrient-dense chow prepared by those who will eat it, not the crap on the shelf. slate/blogs/xx_factor/2014/09/03/home_cooked_family_dinners_a_major_burden_for_working_mothers.html
