Sometimes you put your whole heart and soul into something. This I have been doing for the Ralph Morash Herd. From the moment I heard the news they were in danger of all being shot and juxtaposing that against the sense of peace seeing the herd out on the dyke all those years I was moved with so many emotions including outrage that their peace, my peace had been disturbed. I have spent some time with them. These are horses that have only ever known kind treatment. They are curious and innocent. They are the result of one mans dedication to rescuing horses and ponies. No ears back, no running away, no offer to kick or bit or attack, no sickness. I have sixty three years horse experience and knowledge behind me. There is no way they would ever threatened any human. I have seen more threatening horses in some peoples barns. May they live long and free in their new surroundings where kindness will still be the only thing they know. :)
