That was during the incredible Neptune Flyby week and weekend of special events--when the world saw the very first images of #Neptune on August 25, 1989. #NASAs #Voyager2 launched in 1977--and teams began that mission well before that--and NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory teams are still involved with that amazing non-crewed #spacecraft that continues to travel through the universe. And this July 14, 2015: well all get to see the very first images of #Pluto thanks to the #NewHorizons mission!
