Son of God, the Lamb of God, the Resurrection and the Life, my Redeemer, Lover of my soul, Alpha and Omega. The names and phrases that stretch the boundaries of human language in the effort to capture the un-capturable, the grandeur and majestic of God. Hearing them is somewhat like hearing a Salvation Army Christmas band on the street corner or outside Super Walmart playing Handels Messiah or Joy to the World. No names do God justice! BUT there is one name. J.E.S.U.S. A name so typical. Emmanuel, whom we are celebrating His birth this season. He was touchable, approachable, reachable. Just call me Jesus, you can almost hear Him say. Those who walked with Him remembered Him not with a title or designation, but with a name - Jesus! It sure is a beautiful name and a powerful name indeed. Tis Season my friends, may we not forget that JESUS is truly the reason for this Season. He is the same CHRIST in CHRISTmas! Let us not keep ourselves too busy to notice that HE is the reason for this season like how the Innkeeper would never believe that hed just sent God into the the cold. He surely just missed His Majestys arrival!! Let us celebrate with joy and with open hearts and believe that Jesus is Christmas and He had come to us to bring Salvation!!! :) Have a Merry Christmas and a Joyous Season!!
