Song no.4 for day 4 of music and this choice wasnt as obvious for me as I like ALL music...at the moment am liking Ed Sheerans new one, Olly Murs, Sam Smith, One Direction (yes, really!!), but are they memorable to me? So instead I thought about what my comfort songs were...you know, those songs you play when you are in your own space and time and you just want to chill, or feel connected to the larger meaning of it all, and my style of music tends to me Country or Folk because it reminds me of growing up, being at home and listening to the music my mum and dad played...but my country music differs from theirs and I discovered the Dixie Chicks around 2008/9 and loved how they sounded and looked...this video is their version of Stevie Nicks, Landslide and the lyrics are so touching...I get goose bumps with some of the words.
