Song of the Day As Ive moved through the LPs I kept of my fathers, none has mesmerized me more than a compilation of Mose Allison hits, The Best of Mose Allison. To be honest, other than possibly hearing his named in the past, I had no idea who this guy was, and I kept it only because the cover physically looked cool. I am enraptured. Largely he plays blues tunes, but theres a driving swing to his playing, and a humor to his vocal delivery, thats really hooked me.
