Song of the day: Just a girl by Brandon Heath I was sitting here at work with KLOVE playing and this song comes on. Now i have heard it but i was prompted to put my ear phones in and not listen to the words. All i can say is i am blubbering now like a baby. When thinking of the story about our Saviors birth, life, and death just brings me to my knees. He was born not in a cozy hospital with all the bells and whistles. Not born with the start in life most of us want to give our children. Rather he was born into the cold night, on a bed of straw with barn animals all around. Now i dont know about you guys but barn animals are typically not the cleanest nor smell all that great. But none the less there He was, born as a tiny babe in a straw filled manger, to save the world. He could have come as a full grown man and stepped right into the world, but he was sent to be as humans and suffer what we suffer. Did God know he would be born this way, YES....it was part of His grand plan. People needed to see this baby born so innocently and grow with such wisdom and teachings even at 8 years old. Jesus was about His Fathers business when most kids today are carefree. He grew to a man who suffered tremendously. He suffered to be your redeemer, your savior, your KING. To know that He did that for, no one else, me....i cant do anything but blubber like a baby. Thank You my KING for loving us enough to intervene in our wickedness and give us a fighting chance. We only need to believe, ask forgiveness, and live to serve Him and others. Hope everyone has a blessed day.
