Song of the day: My Sweet Lord - George Harrison. By far my favorite song of all time. Its just one of these Happy kinda songs that make you smile.... And think. Religious back thought, yes but did anyone really go into the religious meanings in it. Sure, George had just been to India and been smitten by the Hindu faith and way of life but listen to the song, it doesnt just have Hindu tones. Christian, My Sweet Lord. The Hebrew word, Hallelujah Then of course the Hindu Vedic Mantra of Hare Krishna. So, several religions represented in one song but all anyone could think about was the Hare Krishna chant and that George had lost the plot. Me? I thought it was a fantastic song and still think so to this day, no matter what the religious tones referred to that were represented in the song. I especially love Harrisons Slide Guitar in it. It makes me happy, it makes me smile. It also brought a smile to The Chiffons (Hes so fine) Google it. It got messy and extremely expensive. Now for todays mission. Easier than yesterdays. When you are out today, smile at everyone. Just smile and as you pass people nod your head a little and smile. No need to say anything, a smile and a nod is worth a million words. Have a nice day.
