Sonja R. (Palonen) Odom of Medford, MA passed away on January 29, 2013 at the age of 41. Loving mother of Laura, Shawn and Christopher Odom. Cherished daughter of Stuart and Rose (Tierney) Palonen of Medford. Devoted sister of Debra and her husband Andrew Barbitta of Columbia, SC, Steven Palonen of Stoneham and Mark Palonen of Waltham. Loving niece of Patricia Tierney, Jean Dognazzi, Richard, Paul, Michael and Timothy Tierney, Candace and Robert Tallent of Columbia, SC, Christopher and Carol Palonen of Jewett City, CT, Phillip and Carol Palonen of Canterbury, CT and the late Sheila McHugh, Teresa Farmer, Mary Gardner, Gerard Palonen and Geraldine Palonen. Also survived by many loving cousins, dear friends and family. Sonja graduated from Medford High School Class of 89. Relatives and friends invited. Funeral from the Gaffey Funeral Home, 43 High St., Medford Square, MEDFORD. Visiting hours Sunday, Feb. 3, from 2 pm to 6 pm followed by a Mass of Christian Burial held in Saint Josephs Church, Medford on Monday, Feb. 4, at 10:30 am. Interment Saint Josephs Cemetery, W.
