Sonora Bronco Band News: On Sunday, July 27th, Multiple state band contests were held in San Antonio In conjunction with the Texas Bandmasters Association Convention. The results are as follows, T.M.E.A. Middle School Honor Band: 5 judges ranked the Colt band 3rd, 4th, 6th, 8th, and 9th out of 11 for a combined 6th place ranking. A.T.S.S.B. Middle School March Category: 8th out of 10. A.T.S.S.B. Middle school Concert category: 7th out of 15. A.T.S.S.B. High school March category: 10th out of 10. Though we are always working for the highest ranks and ratings, the fact that the Sonora Bands have advanced in so many events through the rigorous process to state firmly establishes us a premier band program.
