Sonorous School of Sacred Sound presents Solstice Celebrations An experiential evening of song, chant and the spoken word. The transformational time of the solstice is an ideal moment to enjoy ourselves. Our voices are often masked by the hum drum of our everyday lives. This evening offers the chance to reveal and celebrate the true essence of our being. Guiding you through simple yet powerful strategies and techniques you will be enabled to quickly and effectively find a sense of calm and equilibrium to carry you forward. ~ A ‘sound bath’ will be offered during the evening ~* Singing experience is not required, just a willingness to join in and have fun. *if you have a pacemaker or hearing aid please advise us beforehand so that we can accommodate you appropriately. She runs a regular weekly singing group for women and encourages everyone to overcome their fears of singing and discover their own sound. Lindsay is also a Shamanic Practitioner and Sound Healer using Planetary gongs, crystal singing bowls and her voice to promote transformation. Her latest project is to bring meditation and sound work into schools. Sharon Galliford MSc – a Transpersonal Psychologist and Sound Healer. Her work is rooted in her love of understanding the connections we all have to our inner knowing and intuition. She has a passion for assisting people through these tumultuous times as they realign themselves to the changes taking place in their lives. Sharon runs regular facilitated support groups, workshops and private client sessions. sharongalliford
