Sony, in its Christmas Day release of its “The Interview” film (object of hacks and threats by North Korea, and a bonanza of publicity for the film), has not selected any theaters in Sedona, Flagstaff and Prescott. But there are ones in Arizona showing it; see the list below. I am not sure how good the film is. But I suspect some people will consider it an act of “patriotism” or even “vengeance” to see it in theatres, so I anticipate they would be crowded. Viewing the trailer turned me off to this comedy, which looks to be in the “dumb and dumber” genre. At least in America, we still have choice in our films. https://youtube/watch?v=KpyVENBPj5c The AZ list: Lake Havasu’s Lake Havasu Cinema 10, Maricopa’s Ak-Chin 12, Payson’s Sawmill Theatres, Scottsdale’s Ultraluxe Scottsdale Pavillions 11, Show Low’s Wme Theatre, Sierra Vista’s Uptown 3 Theatre, Tempe’s Valley Art, and Tucson’s Loft Cinema 2.
