Soo, Im still a little new to this elf of the shelf thing. The night before last, I fell asleep before I could move him (I was just resting my eyes for a second). Jayce woke up saying his magic was gone and April told me the box says if a kid touches him, he loses his magic and cant see Santa. Jayce was saying how he knew Tyler touched him. April and I questioned the boys and both kinda felt like jayce was lying. Meanwhile, this elf doesnt have magic I just forgot to move him so theres no way to tell if they were being truthful, you know? Soo eventually jayce broke down crying (he never cries, ever) saying it was an accident and the elf, Charlie, knocked down jayces necklace so he was just trying to hang it back up and touched him. He was so upset that he took away Charlies magic he hid under the blanket and cried.... So April googled how to get the magic back and we layed charlie on a paper towel on the kitchen table and sprinkled cinnamon all around him before bed. Jayce wanted to write him a note and naturally, since he wrote one, Tyler did, too. (Although Tyler could only write his name so I had to help him with the actual note.)
