Soo lonely feeling the absence of my Mother,,, The story begun wen I was a child, Wenever we had some food,she often gave me her portion of rice,when i finish mine Whyl she ws transferring her rice into my bowl, she wuld say Eat this rice, son! Im not hungry.My heart was touched wen i saw it. Once I gave her my share but she immediately refused it nd said, Eat it son! I dont really lyk rice. Since she ws ateacher,,, in order 4 me 2 pursue well in my education,she tot me in de evennin afta she is back 4rm school, One winty cold night I awoke 2 find her unable to lit de match-boxes so as write my school assignment. So I said,Mother, go 2 sleep, its late: yu wil write it morning. She smiled nd said Go 2 sleep, son! Im not tired,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Afta my Fathers death,she had to play the role of a single parent. She held on 2 her teaching job; she had 2 fund our needs alone.,,,,,,My kind Uncle who lived near our house came to help us solve our problems big nd small. Our atha neighbours saw dat nd they often advised my mother to marry again.Bt refused 2 remarry saying she dont need love. In the year 2007, I ws taken 2 khorof Harar primary school far 4rm her bt in her dotage, she ws attacked by sickness nd had 2 be hospitalized. Now living far across her region,i doged school 2 visit her who was bed ridden nd wen she saw me she tried 2 smile bt I was heart broken becoz she ws so thin nd feeble bt she told me, Dont cry, son! Im not in pain wid her last breath nd finally she died. Infact i was a foolish little child,crazy thngs i used to do,all de pain i put yuh through, mama now that yu aint here wid me,,,am regrating for all de times i made yuh cry, 4 de day i told yuh lies, its time 4 me to praise for de thngs yu sacrifised, If i culd turn bwak time rewind, if culd make it undone i swear that i wuld, i wil make it up to yuh,feeling your absence mummy,,,may the Almighty Allah grant yuu janatul firdous,,,
