Sooo I did a little research. Tetra Tech is the company working on RR 12, 14, 15, 30 as well as 770. I spoke to Brian, the project manager, 780 777 0995 who says that yes the job has taken a little longer than it was supposed to but that they should be wrapping up the projects by October 15. I asked him if he was aware that no one was working on the intersections and he said that was because all the gravel trucks were tied up on 770. I asked him if he was aware of how dangerous RR30 was now especially for vehicles turning off of hwy 16 and he said that was why they were making the improvements. I told him that in 2 years I have not seen any improvement and the fact that his boys park on the RR right at the entrance/off the hwy made it particularly fun to navigate and how appreciative I was when they left their truck doors open. Reminded him how when turning off of the hwy people dont slow down and get off your ass and navigating around blind corners, sharp shoulders, oncoming vehicles and random men walking about the road was not an improvement. I also spoke to Randy Shawl, project manager for Alberta transportation for this area 780 963 5711 who tells me that Tetra Tech is being charged every day since October 15 of last year for non completion of projects. Now Opus is the company doing the work on Parkland Drive. They are next on my hit list. Never in my life as I have said before have I seen such dangerous road construction. Be alert on the roads people because the companies working on them certainly are not.
