Sooo, Ive been searching high and low all day for 20-gauge steel #2 shot. Boy has this been an experience. And, I still need ammo before 3am. First store: Me: Hi, do you carry 20 gauge steel shot #2? Guy on the phone: let me check Guy on the phone: we have 20 gauge in 6 and 7 but the other boxes dont have a number on them Me: I promise you they do. Him: I think some companies dont label them the same. We dont use numbers like that Me: youre a sporting goods store that sells ammo, I promise you that your store uses the labels 1 shot, 2 shot, 3 shot, etc and that those same numbers are on the box. Whats the number all the way to the right on the box? Him: oh well we dont call it #2 shot. We just call it 20 gauge steel ammo. Me: ummm.....yes but it comes in different.... nevermind. Thank you for your time. Next store: Me: hi, sporting goods please -wait for 15 minutes with no answer and proceed to call back five times- Lady at reception: there is no one answering what do you need from sporting goods? Me: I was wondering if you carry 20 gauge steel shot in a #2 shot? Her: hold on please -transferred to sporting goods- Guy at sporting goods: hi sir, I understand that you have some ammo questions? Me: Im a female and was wondering if you had ... Him: Im sorry. Bad habit Me: no, bad assumption. Him: Yea... It is. Let me look for you.
