Sooo the 1st April 2014 marks exactly 6 months since I moved to Hannover. Ill be perfectly honest: my first semester was shit. The German university system is so different to the one in Scotland and I ended up in extremely difficult classes, failing exams, not getting enough credits and texting my dad everyday telling him how much I wanted to come home. BUT I persevered, drank and cried a lot and here I am now about to go on with my 2nd semester and I could not be happier with my life here :) Ive met some amazing people that I know I will keep in touch with after leaving and I know that in 4 months time I will most likely be sitting in the airport crying about having to leave! Doing a language year abroad at a uni in a foreign country is possibly one of the hardest things I have ever done but also the most rewarding. Definitely having a proud Sorrel moment :D
