Soooo, Bridgwater Half Marathon Race Report: Great organisation, great marshals but Ive got to say it has to be the most boring race Ive ever ran!!! Mostly down country roads with little to see but hedges on either side - tough to psychologically keep going. To add, it was advertised as a flat course however it was definitely miss sold with a fair few hills! I started to have issues with an ongoing foot niggle at 11.5/12 miles and had to run/walk the last few miles so not a PB but an ok-ish 2hrs 7mins. Great good bag with medal and a commemorative towel! Ran with my friend on her first big race post baby (who did amazingly!), so enjoyable for that reason alone. Definitely not one to be repeated! Forgot to take a photo in club kit so heres me post shower with a lovely view of the portaloos!
