Soooo. Heres the news today on Ferguson, an it looks like the police are considering charging Michael Browns stepfather for inciting riots. Who here doesnt think this will spark another riot? Why would they want this? Look at what the first bill on the open congress web page is today: HB3438, which just happens to allow those who receive grants under the Urban Area Security Initiative and the State Homeland Security Grant Program (read: POLICE) to work in conjunction with a National Laboratory to achieve target capabilities related to preventing, preparing for, protecting against, and responding to acts of terrorism. Target capabilities would be mil/cop lingo for new equipment that lets cops do new thing. Stuff like experimental microwave area denial platforms that target a victim and burn their abdomen with microwave radiation... You know, as a deterrent for terrorists... Or any protest of the removal of any and all civil rights. Sounds like some military weapon developer is going to make another fortune by selling pain and suffering.
