Soooo...Mike Epps has been cast to play Richard Pryor in an upcoming biopic about the legendary comedian/actor being directed by Lee Daniels. Im a fan of Pryor and Mike Epps and anyone who even sort of followed news about there being a movie made about the formers life will know that many actors/comedians were in talks to star or rumored to have landed the role, including: Epps in the beginning, then Marlon Wayans was the for sure choice; and, I believe Eddie Murphy was even rumored to possibly play his longtime colleague and friend. I must say, I am happy to hear that it is indeed going to be Mike Epps who plays Pryor and I am looking fwd. to the finished product! Btw...Oprah Winfrey is attached to the project as a producer and, though Im not a big fan of Lee Daniel as a director, I think that overall the project is in good hands. What yall think?
