Soooo... Obama promised us that his administration will not use the NDAAs provisions against American citizens on American soil. We all remember that, right? Hmmm... He also promised that our troops would all be home from Afghanistan by 2014. Oops. He also promised that if you like your plan, you can keep it. Oops. He also promised that they would lower the cost of healthcare. Oops. He also promised that youd be allowed to buy your meds from other countries. Oops. He also promised an unprecedented level of openness. Oops. He also promised to create jobs. Oops. He also promised not to spy on American citizens not suspected of a crime. Oops. He also promised to close Guantanamo Bay. Oops. He also promised that federal contracts would be competitively bid. Oops. He also promised wed review and comment on bills before he signed them. Oops. He also promised to cut the deficit in half. Oops. He also promised not to have any lobbyists in his administration. Oops. He also promised to end DEA raids on medical marijuana in states where its legal. Oops. He also promised to preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution. Oops. Rather than continuing the litany of lies like this all day and night, lets take a look again at that first sentence: Obama promised us that his administration will not use the NDAAs provisions against American citizens on American soil. Provisions like taking you or me or your neighbor or your mom prisoner without any explanation, let alone due process. Provisions like carte blanche murder if they proclaim (without proof) that you or I or your mom is a threat to them. When it comes to breaking promises, Obama has an impeccable track record. With that in mind, wouldnt it be more prudent to stop asking him questions and start removing him from office? - JS P.S. Were beginning to wonder if hes lying to us intentionally for the express purpose of desensitizing us to it. Chew on that.
