Soooo... This is how MY day is going! A beautiful sunny day, almost 80°, at a nice & clean rest area between Detroit & Flint. I give in to the tempting Siren call of the ice cream bar vending machine! =) & SURE! Ill splurge the extra dollar for the Turtle one! Who can resist the delicious combination of Chocolate, Carmel & Nuts?!! So I plug in the $3. The top of the chest freezer, behind the glass of the vending machine, magically opens & the vacuum arm snakes down & sucks up my treat. Then it pulls it out of the freezer & dangling it teasingly in front of my eyes while the invisible man closes the freezer lid. Im ALMOST salivating as the vacuum shuts off to release the box down to the bottom of the machine for me to retrieve it... and clunk! It gets wedged between the rubber lip of the freezer & the metal front of the machine an inch past the plexiglass window to the show! I bought TWO other round Cookie Ice cream sandwiches to knock it loose. Both of them DID hit the 1st box, but only preceded to wedge it tighter! It became a game of chance/claw game @ $2 a try & it attracted a crowd of kids! Some trying to reach up past the door to get it, but nope, couldnt reach it! A couple of girls each bought ice cream treats & knocked it, but that Turtle just held tight! In a Futile act of self preservation, that Turtle sits clinging onto that ledge, not realizing that hes about to be a delicious box of melted goo! #Olaf? #FrostyTheSnowman?
