Soooo.....continued to travel around the coast of Croatia and ended up in a place called novagrad (or something like that) where we stayed in a small holiday apartment.... Nice little place on the sea, only trouble is we happened to book in at the same time as a large group of some hippy/tree hugging croatians who were singing around the campsite fire with their guitars till some early hour of the morning. Still could have been worse. Next day we travelled north into Slovenia and up to lake bled......again some amazing scenery...unfortunately the weather wasnt its best and it was very misty over the water. Stayed in the worst accomodation yet, no plugs in the room, cold shower, generally pretty crap but ah well. Today we travelled to Bovec, tok the mountain pass which turned out to be one of the most beautiful roads (scenery and bends) ive ever seen....we couldnt stop for long tho as we had booked white water rafting in bovec. Rafting was awesome, with some cool 6 Metre (its a lot higher than it sounds!) jumps into the water. The river water is an amazing crystal turquoise colour, filtration of the minerals down through the mountain rocks. Got a nice little hostel tonight, staying here for another day...more activities tmoro....possibly aero foil, canyoning, bungy jump etc. Tuesday we will be heading off to Italy and Venice before hitting the alps once more.....the dolomites are calling :)
