Sooooo... at the same time we were working with the people from Texas, I was contacted by a really great lady in California.. In her words So this pic (same one from the story, Grace, a gentle giant in need by Life with Dogs ) captured my attention and I kept it open as a tab on my comp. After about a week I contacted the rescue to just ask about her and see if she had found a home. I tried to find out by looking at all of the comments on FB but nothing seemed solid so I had to ask. Mom2 contacted me within a day and I called her and we talked for over an hour and the more we talked the more she was describing Ginger (Her previous dog that had passed away). I started the conversation with, I live in California so I dont think this will ever work but her story captured me and I just want to hear that she is ok and finds a good home. I ended the conversation with, If this is meant to be it will happen. About a week later Mom2 had posted a killer deal on dog crates and I was so impressed with the work they( FODA) have done with not only Grace, but some of their other near death dogs, I wanted to donate but needed an address. So I contacted her asking for her address and she responded with the info and then added...........Graces home is not working out. We removed her to temp foster home. She is nervous but ok. I was going to contact you today in case you wanted to drive to Texas..................
