Sopa de Salchichon 1 Summer Sausage 21 oz Hillshire Farms, sliced or cube 1 bag of Goya Fideos 12 oz bag 1/2 can of Goya tomato sauce 1 small onion diced 1/2 green bell pepper diced 1/2 red bell pepper diced 3 garlic clove finely diced 1 tablespoon of Sofrito 2 packets of Sazon con achiote 1 teaspoon of black pepper 1 teaspoon of oregano 1 teaspoon of coriander 1 teaspoon of cumin 1 teaspoon of adobo 3 carrots chopped 3 celery stalk chopped 3 red potato cubed 10 cups of chicken broth You can add green olives. I didnt add any because I dont like olives. In a large pot boil the chicken broth, onions, garlic, bell peppers, celery, carrots, Sofrito, dry ingredients, potatoes and tomato sauce on high for 10 minutes. Stir well. Then add the sausage and boil for another 10 minutes on high. Add the fideos and let boil on medium heat covered until fideos are tender. Stir well so fideos will come apart. You may need to adjust liquid to your liking. Serve hot.
