Sophia Eczema Update for those interested, since I forgot to update on this in a while. Her eczema is almost totally gone with small flare ups after eating certain foods. After switching to a new pediatrician, who immediately sent us to an allergist, the allergist was able to tell us that her legs and arms were infected. She has been infected for over a year. The bad bacteria has just continually regenerated over and over, causing her eczema to never fully heal. He gave us an antibiotic and some more natural-minded suggestions (most of which I was already doing). After 7 days of antibiotics, her eczema was gone. We had never seen her smooth, soft skin since she was 6 months old. It was amazing! She is still taking fermented cod liver oil, and probiotics. We are just so happy to no longer have an itchy baby anymore!
