Sophie is a beautiful 2-year old female kitty who was surrendered by her family on January 15, 2015 because they were moving out of state and couldnt take her along :( Sophie had shared her home with several other cats, and the family was able to find homes for everyone except Sophie, so she had nowhere else to go and was brought to us. Sophie has a white-and-brown tabby long smooth coat, a large white bib, a long fluffy tail, and a gorgeous face with large golden eyes. This young lady has been very frightened since she was placed in a small cage by her owner and then left in an unfamiliar place :( Sadly, Sophie is being listed as URGENT since she needs to find a home asap and out of the shelter :( :( She tends to withdraw and show her fear/displeasure by displaying her best defense mechanism .. showing her teeth and hissing :( :( Sophie would likely calm down if given the chance to be given her space and quiet time in a larger home environment.
