Sophomore Nicole Nonnemacher put a huge exclamation point on the 2013-14 season for Saint Xavier University Athletics by claiming the NAIA Softball National Pitcher of the Year award and first team All-America honors Friday! It is only the third time in Cougar Athletics history that an athlete has earned their sports top individual honor with Colleen Kilduff (2006 NAIA Softball Player of the Year) and Jimmy Coy (2012 NAIA Football Player of the Year) being the other two. Her older sister, Megan Nonnemacher, also earned a spot on the NAIA Softball All-America Honorable Mention Team to close out her final season with SXU. Great job by both of these impressive siblings! Go Cougars!
