Sorry I didnt let you all know the results of Dons MRI yesterday but I was so exhausted by the time we got home I fell asleep before nine! I feel much better today--its amazing what a good nights sleep will do. The MRI was not what I had hoped for but not so bad either. The new growth seems to be stable at this point. It doesnt look like it has grown but doesnt look like it has shrunk either. The original tumor is still there but very small. She wants to do another MRI in 6 weeks to make sure things stay stable. Don will do another round of oral chemo this Monday and then another IV chemo on Wednesday. That is a lot for one week so please keep him in your prayers. The fatigue seems to be the worst part of it. Some confusion and especially memory loss is present when he gets fatigued. We are going to The Cancer Center for Hope in Irvine, Ca. on November 3rd to look at some other options to compliment his treatment. This door seemed to open for us through much prayer and research. We are going with an open mind to what they might have to offer. Please pray for wisdom for us to make informed, clear choices as to the direction we should take next. We have also looked into treatments in Arizona, Texas, New York, and Europe. This seemed to be the first choice since it is so close--about 7 hours. I am confident that as one door closes, another will open. This week I am going to focus on just being still and knowing that God is in control. When I try to take it all on is when I feel anxious. I dont know the future but I do know that God is walking this path before me and beside me. That gives me the peace and comfort that I need for today. Have a great weekend.
