Sorry I didnt make it to post here last night. I just never stopped till I dropped First rescue call came whilst I was still feeding so Barry and Stephanie went out. It was a HUGE Eastern Grey male way too big for Steph to handle. I had to call the local cops to come out and shoot him. He had a bad brake to his leg :( So sad to see such a magnificent creature die needlessly. Steph and Barry were in Brisbane all day so I had all the feeds on my own and it was taking me nearly two hours to get through every one :( The second call came in just before they left and I explained that I had no transport for the day. The guy kindly came and collected me. There was a Swampy female lying in the grass at the edge of his property. So visible injury but she was SOOOO thin. Very easy to bag then he kindly drove me to the Uni where I left her after helping to sedate her. AS of late last night she was still on a drip but still having seizures :( Thankfully there were no more call outs but I was so far behind I just didnt get to stop :(
