Sorry I havent responded to all the individual messages, but yesterday was a rough day and I needed sleep. Heres an update on everything: Milo was down to 70% oxygen yesterday, but today is back up to 100%, his Dopamine (to keep his BP stable) was increased because apparently his oxygen saturation is more steady when his BP is slightly higher, they do still have him sedated because he will heal better without excessive stimuli. They made sure to tell us that sometimes its two steps forward and one back, so not to hold tightly to the weaning off vent numbers, but the whole picture. The numbers will fluctuate until he is better. There is no set timeline on this journey unfortunately, so I may not give as much details every day. Please just continue to pray for his healing. Please also pray that my BP will remain stable. My pain is better controlled thank goodness, so that helps keep it more normal. My kidneys were just struggling but extra fluids are helping. Today is a much better day for me! I got to change Milos diaper and check his temperature which was very important for this mama who is longing to hold and nurse my baby! (BTW he is wearing size 3 diapers!) For all my milky mama friends, I did express some colostrum for him for when they are ready to begin feedings and my transition milk is coming in! So thankful.
