Sorry If im blasting a lot of Philippines helps stuff.. I have a soft spot for storm victims. I was only 12 years old when my home was destroyed in Hurricane andrew.. YES destroyed… no roof in most rooms, holes in the roof in the rest of the house, most windows blown out, water damage, the drop ceiling fell to the ground so rafters were visible where there was any roof left at all, no clean water for weeks, no electricity or phone lines for weeks. We lived in south Miami heights, just outside of the redlands at the time, since our home was unlivable we lived in a tent out in the yard (most neighbors did the same or were fortunate enough to have insurance pay for a trailer in the lawn instead) My mom JUST told me the other day she remembered us dancing in the rain in the KITCHEN during the weeks following the storm. Food, water, toothpaste soap etc from the red cross, patrols from the coast guard to prevent looting and other help from friends n strangers alike are pretty much the main reason we made it through that… if you have ANY thing at all to spare, maybe consider adding it to help those who were affected by the Typhoon
