Sorry for minimal notice, but Cayce and I are going to be hosting a Game Day at our house this Saturday, Aug 2. There is an informal starting time around noon and it will go as long as people want to play. All we ask is that the volume adjust accordingly when Gabe goes to sleep (the last game day ended around 4am and he was just fine with it). We have a variety of games here and appetizers, and will most likely order pizza for dinner if there is a desire for it. I have promised to post an updated game wall picture / inventory by Friday, but if there is anything in particular that you would like to bring PLEASE do so, options are never a bad thing. In addition to the essentials of games, friends, and food, we have a hot tub (with waterproof playing cards) if anyone wants to relax. We also have a guest room for anyone who doesnt want it. We also have 2 cats and a toddler, so if you are allergic to small things youve been warned. We shut two of the three in the basement if need be, but there will still be traces of cat hair around (due to shedding and toddler). This is an open invitation to anyone who wants to come play games and/or just hang out so feel free to share it with anyone who you think would enjoy it. It would be nice to get a rough head count so that we can get an appropriate number of tables, but if youre not sure, drop ins are always fun too. This will be a kid friendly party at first, but the games like Cards Against Humanity can come out after impressionable ears go to sleep.
