Sorry for not updating. Austin received platelets transfusions on 8/28, 9/4, 9/9. Austin received a blood transfusion on 9/4.The doctor started Austin on high doses of steroids twice daily on 8/26. This is to see if they will help Austin hold his blood levels up longer. Austin has two rare antibodies in his blood so the goal with the steroids is that the steroids may help to suppress the antibodies so the blood levels will stay up. We are driving back and forth each weekend which makes Austin very happy. Thank you for all the support and prayers.
